A: No. Our formula is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. Perspiration is a natural process, and our balm eliminates odour-causing bacteria without clogging your body’s “air conditioning system.”

A: Our formula is applied directly onto the skin using your fingertips. This innovative method ensures that the powerful antibacterial, odour-destroying ingredients get straight to work exactly where they’re needed. Not only that, the fingertip application allows you to do that important daily underarm check each day. You only need to apply our deodorant balm once a day. It is effective from the first application and leaves no residue on underarm skin - so you can dress and go – no drying time required.
A: We recommend checking with your doctor first as this gentle deodorant balm contains a small amount of essential oils (Lavender & Tea Tree).
A: No problem! Bamboo spatulas are available if required at the point of sale, just ask.
A: Before each use be sure to wash the spatula with a gentle hand soap and dry thoroughly with a towel (exactly as you would do with your hands before application.)
NB: Bamboo spatulas are not designed to replace fingertip application! They are a tool for anyone who tends to find our deodorant balm/cream gets under their nails (e.g., with manicured nails). Scoop the correct amount of product onto the spatula and smooth onto clean, dry fingertips before applying as usual. Fingertip application is the optimal way to apply our deodorant balm, and we do not recommend applying it straight onto the underarm from the spatula. Fingertip application also provides that important, daily underarm check.
A: Store it in the original pot, in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight.
A: If the deodorant remains unopened, it will last for two years from the date of manufacture. After opening, the product lasts for 6 months. With daily use, a full-size 30g pot should last for around 6 weeks, so you will never come anywhere close to the use-by date.
A: We advise not to use directly after shaving. Skin is at its most sensitive after shaving, and this could lead to irritation. If you tend to have sore underarms after shaving, it might be wise to leave for a day and then apply.
A: It sounds like the active ingredients may have sunk to the bottom. This happens occasionally because we purposely do not use any binding agents in our deodorant balm.
A: If your balm melts or separates, it’s probably because it’s been in a very warm environment or in direct sunlight for a time. Take a clean, dry implement and thoroughly stir the mixture, then place it in the freezer for around an hour.
A: Even with 100% natural products, some skin types can become irritated. In the case of our natural deodorant, it is often down to whether a person can tolerate Bicarbonate of Soda. We purposely used only a very small amount of Bicarbonate of Soda in our deodorant as it is an extremely effective deodoriser and is popular in many natural deodorant brands. It is slightly alkaline and may occasionally cause redness to those with particularly sensitive skin by affecting skin pH. Discontinue use if this occurs.
